Year 2 Snow Day

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the snow day.

Here are some activities to keep you occupied.

Maths
We're currently learning about weights and capacity.
Write down the weights of 10 different items in your kitchen (the weights are usually given on the package). Then order them from smallest (lightest) weight to largest (heaviest)weight.

Additionally if you can go on the internet (remember get your parents permission) then go on the Woodlands Junior site and play some Maths games.

English we are writing our own version of Jack and the Beanstalk. Try writing it at home. Remember to use full stops, capital letters, commas and speech marks. Illustrate your story too.

In History/Geography/Art we are learning about The Great Fire of London. Why don't you research it and then write a report about the fire....remember to use headings in your report.

See you when school re opens.

Mrs Jaffery, Mrs Jones and Mrs Daley.
